Walton Girls' High School has an excellent reputation nationally and internationally for work achieved in the Performing Arts. It offers unlimited creative opportunities for students who show an interest in one or more of the Performing Arts.

Dance, Drama and Music are taught to the highest levels with students achieving exceptional results. Students perform regularly on the newly equipped stage as well as at various outside venues. All students have opportunities to attend visits to theatres, ballets etc and also participate in numerous workshops taken by professionals in the Arts. Our students are highly regarded for their creativity, motivation and commitment.

Many students go on to study BTEC in Performing Arts (dance, music, drama, theatre management, costume, stage make-up, sound and lighting etc) Level 3 and then continue on to Degree Level.

Whatever the career or course chosen, the combination of natural talent, creativity and personality combined with excellent teaching and direction produces students who are hard working, confident, good communicators, well equipped to take the many opportunities that lie ahead.
